Meet Coach Randall
Hi, I’m Randall, founder and head coach of Red Panda Fit.
Before I opened this studio, I spent 15 years teaching high school English and coaching various after-school sports teams, including baseball, softball, and soccer. I have a B.A. in English from UCLA and an M.A. in Education from UC Berkeley.
After the pandemic, I went all in on fitness coaching and became NASM-certified. I coached in a range of big-box gyms, attended fitness conferences, completed the Spartan Trifecta, hired a bodybuilding coach for six months, and even participated in an exercise study for another six months. I am never done learning, and I want to keep growing as a coach for my clients' benefit.
Outside of the studio, you might catch me walking our dog Fiona, playing recreational sports, playing an instrument, playing board games with friends, or dancing salsa and bachata. I train so that I can be fit and enjoy all that life has to offer for as long as possible. I want the same for my clients: to be strong and healthy so they can thrive, too.
Let’s work hard, let’s get stronger, and let’s have some fun in the process! Paws up.
Meet Coach Eric
I was born and raised in South Central. In my community, I spent several years as a high school weight room coach and developed a passion for helping students, whether they were athletes or beginners. I spent a lot of time perfecting their form on compound movements like the deadlift, squat, and bench press.
After graduating from ELAC and UCLA with a B.A. in history, I wanted to keep helping people achieve their physical goals, and I thought there was no better place than Red Panda Fit. I’m here to learn from Head Coach Randall and make sure every member gets the care, attention, and coaching they need to meet their goals.
During my free time, I love to hike, watch cult classic movies, and geek out over professional wrestling history. If you look closely, you might spot me wearing my Macho Man socks. So please say hi, take a class with me, and let’s chase these gains together.
Meet Coach Ethan
In his own words, “I don’t think I’ve ever not been coaching.” Ethan started his Taekwondo journey at 12, and by 14, he began coaching newer members.
As a sponsored fighter, he is well-versed in helping people unlock and reach their potential. He draws on his MMA background to help members refine striking technique for both boxers and kickboxers. With one trainee winning her first striking challenge and the other winning the Ultimate Fitness Challenge, they both laud Ethan as the best coach they’ve ever had. He emphasizes attention to detail and ensures his trainees master the fundamentals. He jokes, “I will bully you into the best shape of your life.”
